Texas Short Story 2017 Winner - Swish Swish - The Mistake

 I'm so excited that  I received Texas Short Shorty 2017 Winner of the   Texas Short Story 2017 Winner  first place under the African American Genre.  I wrote Swish, Swish - The Mistake about an African American child who lived in the 1950's.  It is an emotional insight to what life was like for a young vulnerable girl of  only 13 years old.
