"The Wave" Acrylic Multi-Media

“The Wave” Surging Seas Renne’ Siewers The Wave depicts chaos throughout life with continuous water in motion. It engulfs life, surging pulses throughout time, and is perpetually moving. Water is the substance of life, and God is my life, forever protection from unexpected rogue waves. Psalms 42.. Psalms 42. 7 Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and waves have rolled over me. 8 The LORD decrees His loving devotion by day, and at night His song is with me as a prayer to the God of my life.

"Captivity" Original Acrylic Flow by Renne' Siewers

Surging Seas Renne’ Siewers   ‘Captivity'   Enclosed in a torrent of confusion, the mermaid is swallowed by the seas, crushed by the water's weight, prey to enemies depicted as shark, praying to be released. The wave encircles the body; life is complex with its ups and downs.   Only one day at a time, I answer prayers to God.   The body is a temple, and may God provide healing in prayers.   You are not a captive in your own captivity,   but are God’s child being groomed for eternity in Heaven. Light is at the end of life to take you home. Psalm 42 I say to God my Rock, “Why have You forgotten me? Why must I walk in sorrow because of the enemy’s oppression?” 10Like the crushing of my bones, my enemies taunt me, while they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” 11Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.
