Texas Short Story 2017 Winner - Swish Swish - The Mistake

I'm so excited that  I received Texas Short Shorty 2017 Winner of the  Texas Short Story 2017 Winner first place under the African American Genre.

I wrote Swish, Swish - The Mistake about an African American child who lived in the 1950's.  It is an emotional insight to what life was like for a young vulnerable girl of  only 13 years old.

I appreciate everyone's support throughout my writing career, especially my husband,
Captain Jon Siewers.

AUSTIN, TX – Texas Authors have once again allowed their creative minds to open up and expand the Universe in which they live with short stories that capture one’s emotions through the everlasting aspect of storytelling.

In this, the third volume of award winning short stories, the reader is taken on a personal ride of growth and understanding, then through history both factual and fictional as they explore each side of wars. Then fear grabs hold of you and shakes you with terror before unleashing giggles and out-right laughs. Those are just a few of the emotions one will experience as they read these 23 short stories from all parts of Texas.

Aerospace: The King's Payload Audio Book published - Check it out - 5 Star Rating

Check out Clare Radex:    Clare Radex  I'm proud to say this is my first audio book I have published Aerospace: The King's Payload on audible.  It is a awesome book.  The speaker is a wonderful narrator named Clare Radex.  She has published over 70 books and one for Michelle Obama.  Her voice is interesting and hypnotizing. She does at least eight different voices in this novel.  The audio book audible is over 9 hours.  After completing the book she told me she has learned so much about aerospace and loved it. When listening to Aerospace:  The King's Payload, it will feel like you are in a movie.  It's fast moving and gives you insight into  NASA secrets throughout the industry.  This is the second book of a trilogy.  First is Aerospace:  The Last Payload, and the last one is Aerospace:  The Rebirth Payload.   Renne' is working on her continuation of Aerospace:  The Mars Survival Payload, which can be found on Kindle Vella for free reading of the first two chapters

Saying Goodbye to John Glenn

What a wonderful man who lived a full live full of adventure.  My favorite astronaut John Glenn, died Thursday (Dec. 8) at the age of 95, flew on two space missions during his long and eventful life. Both of them set records .   O n Feb. 20, 1962, Glenn became the first American to orbit Earth . On the second — the STS-95 mission of the space shuttle Discovery, which lifted off in October 1998 — he became, at 77, the oldest person to slip Earth's bonds.  He performed the MECS experiment for my friend Dr. Dennis Morrison on STS-95, which is a cancer experiment being experimented at MD Anderson, Houston Texas for breast cancer.  This gave me the idea to write my first novel AEROSPACE:  The Last Payload about an aging astronaut going to space for the last chance of life on Earth.  This book tackles the problem of what to do if an astronaut dies in space. Then came the sequel AEROSPACE:  The King's Payload is about another adventure suspense novel surrounded by espionage and roman
