Presenting Baby Jesus, Original Acrylic Painting by Renne' Siewers (For Sale)

Presenting Baby Jesus   I fell in love with a statue of Mary and Jesus when I was in Europe. The statue was silver, and the lighting upon the statue was magnificent. I was drawn to the statue and took a photograph. When I returned from the States, I was moved to paint the image of Mary introducing Jesus to all mankind as the savior to man. Jesus is in man's image. He taught humankind about his father and how to be saved as he grew. Jesus continued to show his faith in God and that believing in God would provide harmony and peace for all humankind. I believe Mary is holding Jesus out so everyone knows Christ was born as predicted in the...

Brotherhood, "Who are the Least of These?) Original Acrylic Painting For Sale

Brotherhood Who are the Least of These? by Renne’ Siewers   Brotherhood depicts the differences in mankind by the positioning of hands.   If you watch a person’s body, you can surmise what emotion a person feels inside.   The indigenous people of all nations were preyed upon and murdered, starved by invaders who took away their livelihood.   This native individual is praying for forgiveness for mankind and their own forgiveness for all who sinned against the innocent.   These people forgave their enemies just like Jesus forgave those who did the same to him. Jesus has his hands clenched, exasperated by mankind's behavior, to find who will serve mankind to lead the brotherhood from hunger, poverty, sickness, and imprisonment.   With his hands turned toward his body, the Manchurian states that he is not open to anyone or anything.   He feels he is superior to everyone in his skills and does not believe in Jesus. The Manchu...

"Coral Reef Demise" original acrylic painting by Renne' Siewers (For Sale)

Coral Reef Demise False Shepherds by The Coral Reef's Demise acrylic painting illustrates the death of living organisms, of life itself.   The beauty of the Coral Reef is unbelievable when snorkeling or diving in the ocean.   You want to touch it but know better since a human touch will kill the coral reef.   The coral brightness is sadly fading due to humankind's impact and global warming.   It’s hard to imagine that the bold colors of a coral reef just below the ocean's surface are dying.   Why would God put such a beautiful creation in jeopardy? The number one reason for the demise of coral reefs is Global Change with the ocean’s warming temperature. The temperature causes bleaching, making the coral reefs’ beautiful colors fade.   As you can see in the picture, the coral reefs are turning grey and white.   Not only does the coral reef struggle to survive, but also the aquatic life that lives in the coral reef.   There...
